ROUEN CATHEDRAL Visited by Pte Bertie Hibbett on 8th Oct. 1915.

If you keep this card  & I see it again I shall always remember the prominent flags of the Allies over the altar in this Cathedral.     I was expecting a letter from you this morning & three times my name was called but they were from Auntie Molly*(2) & a parcel of choc from Miss Foster*Never mind.

I am in the pink but you would not think me handsome to come Home at present, I am blotchy with spots.  Face cream is out of the question.

Bertie.
